What is Simlive?

Simlive sends a video you’ve already prepared through a real live-streaming pipeline to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, or an RTMP destination — on your schedule, not just at upload time. It works as a one-time broadcast, a repeating loop, or a lead-in that automatically hands off the moment your own real stream goes live.

Broadcast scheduler

From your archive to live—on schedule.

Choose a video, set the time, and Simlive sends it live to every destination you select. No encoder, volunteer, or manual handoff required.

Why prepare ahead

All the upside of live, none of the stress

A prepared broadcast gives you the polish of an edited video with the timing and audience of a live event.

Never miss a schedule

Queue a broadcast for the exact minute your audience expects it, or send it immediately — no one has to sit at an encoder.

Perfect playback, every time

Broadcast the finished, edited cut — not whatever a shaky home connection or a dropped frame gives you on camera-live.

Your computer can stay off

TubePull Simlive runs from the cloud. Once a broadcast is prepared and started, close your laptop — it keeps going.

How Simlive works

Three steps from clip to broadcast

Prepare a clip

Upload a video you have the rights to broadcast and TubePull processes it into a broadcast-ready format for your library.

Connect a destination

Connect YouTube, Twitch, or Facebook, or save a custom RTMP target. Reuse saved destinations for future broadcasts.

Create a broadcast

Start now or choose a future date and time. Pick play-once, repeat-N-times, or loop-until-you-switch, then let it run.

Two ways to broadcast

Send it now, schedule it later, or use it as a lead-in

A one-off premiere and a lead-in before your real show solve different problems. Simlive supports both from the same clip library.

Instant or scheduled

Broadcast on your own timing

Ideal for premieres, announcements, or any moment where timing matters more than a live camera.

Built-in safeguards

Rights-checked by design, not just by policy

“You must own the clip or hold every permission needed to broadcast it — Simlive checks for that confirmation before it lets a broadcast run.”
  • 1
A rights confirmation is required when preparing a clip and again when scheduling a broadcast — not just a checkbox buried in the terms.
  • 2
OAuth credentials for connected channels are encrypted at rest; disconnect from TubePull or revoke access from your platform account at any time.
  • 3
All live content must still follow each destination’s own live-streaming terms and Community Guidelines. See YouTube’s terms.
  • 4
You stay in control: end a broadcast manually in TubePull or directly in YouTube Studio at any time.
Mike Walker, founder of TubePull
“We built TubePull to help people archive video they’d otherwise lose. Simlive was the natural next step — the same clips you’re already saving can go back out as a live broadcast, on your schedule, whether that’s a premiere or the lead-in to your real show.”
Mike Walker · Founder, TubePull

Questions, answered

Simlive FAQ

What is TubePull Simlive?
Simlive lets you prepare a video clip, then broadcast it as a live stream — instantly or on a schedule — to YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, or a custom RTMP destination. Play it once, repeat it a set number of times, or loop it until you switch over to your own real broadcast.
Do I need a TubePull Pro subscription to use Simlive?
No. Simlive is a standalone subscription, independent of the TubePull Pro download plan. You can hold a Simlive plan with or without Pro.
What are the Simlive plans and prices?
Free includes 0.25 library hours and 1 streaming hour per month on 1 stream. Regular is $11.99/mo per stream with 2 library hours and 10 streaming hours. Pro is $19.99/mo ($199.99/yr) per stream with 4 library hours and 20 streaming hours. Max is $49.99/mo per stream with 12 library hours, 50 streaming hours, and source-resolution output up to 4K.
Which plans broadcast in 4K?
Max only. Free, Regular, and Pro each produce a single clean 1080p30 stream — upload a 4K source on those tiers and it is transcoded down to 1080p for broadcast. Max preserves your source resolution up to 4K. Pro is the step up in hours and library size rather than in resolution.
How does multistream (destination) pricing work?
One destination slot is included in every plan. Each additional slot is billed at your tier’s rate and adds another monthly streaming-hours bucket — 10 hours on Regular, 20 on Pro, or 50 on Max. Library hours stay fixed no matter how many slots you add. Up to 10 concurrent slots are supported.
What happens if I go over my library or streaming hours?
There is no overage billing. Library and streaming hours are hard caps — once you hit one, new broadcasts are blocked until the next month resets your streaming hours or you upgrade to a higher tier.
Do 4K broadcasts use streaming hours differently?
Yes. Any broadcast sent at 4K resolution counts at double the normal rate against your streaming-hours allowance, and 4K clips likewise count double against your library hours. This applies to the Max tier, the only tier that broadcasts above 1080p.
Can a Simlive broadcast hand off to my real live stream automatically?
Yes, on YouTube and Twitch. TubePull checks your connected channel for another active broadcast and ends the Simlive broadcast automatically, typically within about 30 seconds, so your real stream takes over cleanly. On Facebook, run the clip once or for a finite number of loops, then start your own encoder after it finishes.
Which destinations does Simlive support?
YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and any destination that accepts a custom RTMP stream key.
What content can I broadcast with Simlive?
Only content you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to broadcast, including rights to its video, voice, and music. TubePull requires a rights confirmation before a clip can be prepared and again when a broadcast is scheduled.
