Facebook Video Downloader — Save Videos & Reels as MP4

Save Facebook videos and reels as MP4 at up to 1080p, or pull just the audio as MP3. Public videos need no login. Free for 3 downloads a day.

How to download a Facebook video

  1. Copy the Facebook video link. Open the video or reel and copy the URL from your browser's address bar, or tap Share → Copy link in the Facebook app. Reel, watch, page video, post and fb.watch links all work.
  2. Paste it into TubePull. Paste the link into the download box at the top of this page. TubePull resolves share links to the real video and shows you the resolutions that actually exist for it.
  3. Pick MP4 or MP3 and download. Choose MP4 for video with audio at up to 1080p, or MP3 for audio only. Public videos need no login; group and friends-only videos need a one-time, free Facebook account link.

Download Facebook videos and reels

TubePull is a free Facebook video downloader for public videos and reels. Paste the link into the box at the top of this page and TubePull fetches the same video file Facebook's own player streams, at the best quality Facebook stored for it, instead of recording your screen.

Every common Facebook link shape works:

  • Reels: facebook.com/reel/<id>
  • Watch links: facebook.com/watch/?v=<id>
  • Page videos: facebook.com/<page>/videos/<id>
  • Posts that contain a video: facebook.com/<page>/posts/… and permalink.php links
  • Share-button links: facebook.com/share/v/…, facebook.com/share/r/… and fb.watch/…
  • Links copied from the mobile site (m.facebook.com) or the web.facebook.com host

Public Facebook videos need no login, no account and no browser extension. Facebook is a free-tier platform on TubePull: it is covered by the three-downloads-a-day free allowance, and the $4.99/month Pro plan removes the daily cap.

Quality

Facebook stores most recent uploads as a ladder of resolutions up to 1080p, with the audio kept as a separate track. TubePull lists the resolutions that actually exist for the video you pasted, then joins the picture and sound into one MP4. Older uploads often exist only as Facebook's "SD" and "HD" files, so the choice is shorter for those. Choose MP3 if you only want the audio.

Group posts and friends-only videos

Some Facebook videos are only shown to signed-in viewers: posts in groups, videos shared with friends only, and pages with age or region restrictions. Facebook doesn't send those to an anonymous request, so no downloader can fetch them without a signed-in session.

For those videos you can link your Facebook account once from your account page. TubePull always tries a download without your session first, and uses it only when Facebook asks for a sign-in. The session is stored encrypted, it is used only to fetch the video you asked for, and a file fetched with it is kept private to you. It is never served to anyone else who pastes the same link. Linking is free on every plan, and you can disconnect at any time, which deletes the stored session.

A linked session can only see what that account can already see. TubePull never uses it to like, comment, share or post anything.

What doesn't work

  • Content your account can't see. TubePull doesn't get around privacy settings, group membership or any other access control Facebook enforces.
  • Facebook stories, photos and photo albums. TubePull downloads Facebook video.
  • Live broadcasts while they're still live. Try again once Facebook publishes the replay.
  • Videos the uploader has deleted, or that Facebook has removed.
  • Messenger attachments and anything else that isn't a public web link.

Downloading responsibly

Facebook videos are made by people who hold the copyright to them. Saving a public video to watch offline, archiving your own uploads, or keeping material you have permission to use is normal. Re-uploading someone else's video as your own, removing credit, or redistributing it commercially is not, and TubePull can't make it lawful.

See the safety page for how we handle requests and what we log, and is it legal to download videos for the wider legal picture.

Why TubePull instead of the ad-heavy Facebook downloaders

Most single-purpose Facebook downloaders, such as FDown and SnapSave, pay for themselves with interstitial ads, fake "Download" buttons and pop-up redirects. Here's how TubePull differs:

  • No ads. No interstitials, fake buttons or pop-ups anywhere on the site.
  • Real 1080p. You get the full DASH resolution ladder joined with its audio, not just the low-resolution "SD" file many tools fall back to.
  • Share links just work. fb.watch and facebook.com/share/… links are resolved to the real video for you.
  • One account, every platform. The same free tier and Pro plan cover Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit and more.
  • Built on yt-dlp, the open-source extractor archival projects rely on. When Facebook changes its pages, upstream usually ships a fix quickly and we pick it up on the next deploy.

Frequently asked questions

Can TubePull download Facebook videos and reels?
Yes. Paste a public Facebook video or reel link into the box at the top of this page and TubePull saves it as an MP4 with audio, or as an MP3 if you only want the sound. Watch links, reel links, page video links, posts that contain a video, and Share-button links all work.
Do I need to log in to download from Facebook?
Not for public videos. Public Facebook videos and reels download with no login and no account. Group posts, friends-only videos and age- or region-restricted pages are only shown to signed-in viewers, so for those you can link your own Facebook account once from your account page. TubePull always tries without your session first.
Do fb.watch and Share links work?
Yes. Links from Facebook's Share button, such as facebook.com/share/v/…, facebook.com/share/r/… and fb.watch/…, are resolved to the underlying video before downloading. Some fb.watch links only resolve for signed-in viewers; if so, TubePull will ask you to link your Facebook account.
What quality do Facebook downloads come in?
Up to 1080p, which is the highest resolution Facebook stores for most uploads. TubePull lists the resolutions that exist for the video you pasted. Older Facebook uploads often exist only as Facebook's SD and HD files, so the list is shorter for those.
Do I need a paid plan for Facebook?
No. Facebook is a free-tier platform on TubePull. The free tier covers 3 downloads per rolling 24 hours, and the $4.99/month Pro plan removes that daily cap.
Is my Facebook session safe if I link it?
Your session is stored encrypted and used only to fetch the specific video you request, and only after an anonymous attempt has failed. A video downloaded with your session is kept private to you and is never served to anyone else who pastes the same link. TubePull never uses the session to like, comment, share or post, and disconnecting deletes it.
Can TubePull download Facebook stories or photos?
No. TubePull downloads Facebook video: reels, watch videos, page videos and posts that contain a video. Facebook stories, photos and photo albums aren't supported.
