How to download a Pinterest video

  1. Copy the Pinterest Pin link. Open the individual Pin in the Pinterest app or on pinterest.com. Choose Share → Copy link on mobile, or copy the pinterest.com/pin/... URL from the browser. Direct Pin URLs and pin.it short links work.

Pinterest to MP4, MP3, image or GIF

A Pinterest Pin can contain more than a standard video. TubePull checks the Pin before showing the formats that fit its media:

  • Video Pins: download the available video as MP4, or choose audio extraction when you only need the sound.
  • Image Pins: save Pinterest's original image rendition when it is available, otherwise the widest image rendition Pinterest provides.
  • Animated GIF Pins: keep the animated .gif original instead of saving a static preview image.
  • Carousel Pins: download the available images together as a numbered ZIP.
  • Multi-page Idea Pins: save supported image and progressive MP4 pages together in order when Pinterest exposes direct public files for every page.

TubePull returns the source media Pinterest provides. It does not claim a 4K file when the Pin only contains a smaller video, and it does not convert a preview thumbnail into a supposed full-resolution image.

Pinterest image downloader: full-size Pins, not thumbnails

Copy the link for one Pin, rather than the address of a board, profile, search page, or home feed. Those pages identify collections or browsing screens, not one downloadable media item.
