Skip the multi-gigabyte download
A four-hour stream at 1080p is several gigabytes. If you only want the clutch round, the interview segment, or one song from a DJ set, downloading the whole VOD and trimming it in an editor wastes time and disk space. Clip Range moves the trim before the download: TubePull prepares only the range you pick, so a five-minute segment from a long broadcast arrives as a five-minute file.
Longer than a Twitch clip, shorter than the whole VOD
Twitch’s built-in Clip button stops at 60 seconds and gives you a link, not a file. Many online video cutters cap free clips at a couple of minutes. TubePull’s free tier lets one clip run up to an hour, cut from anywhere in the VOD, and the limit applies to the clip you download, not the length of the stream. Pro removes the cap entirely.

Get it before the VOD expires
Twitch deletes most VODs 7 days after a stream ends (14 days for Affiliates, up to 60 for Partners, Turbo, and Prime). After that, nothing can download them. Save the segments you need while the VOD is still up, and see what expires on Twitch and what doesn’t for the full rules. If it’s your own channel, Stream Archiving records every future broadcast to your Google Drive as it airs.

Frequently asked questions
Can I download only part of a Twitch VOD?
Yes. Paste the Twitch VOD link (twitch.tv/videos/…), drag the Clip Range handles or type start and end timestamps, and TubePull delivers only that segment as an MP4. Only the selected range is prepared, so you do not download the whole broadcast first.
How long can a free VOD clip be?
Up to one hour per clip on the free tier, even from a VOD that runs six or eight hours. A clip counts as one of the free daily downloads. Pro removes the length cap and the daily limit.
How is this different from Twitch’s own Clip button?
Twitch clips are limited to 60 seconds and stay on Twitch as links. Clip Range gives you a file on your device, from a few seconds up to an hour on the free tier, cut from anywhere in the VOD.
Can I start from a timestamped link?
Yes. Paste a link with a timestamp, such as twitch.tv/videos/123456789?t=1h2m3s or a YouTube link with ?t=, and TubePull sets the clip start for you. Adjust the end, or choose “Use full video” to download everything.
Can I clip a YouTube livestream replay?
Yes, on Pro. Completed YouTube livestream replays are a Pro download whether you clip them or not. Regular YouTube videos, including long uploads, can be clipped on the free tier.
Why does a Twitch clip take longer than a YouTube clip?
Twitch VOD segments are re-encoded on our servers so the cut lands exactly where you chose. A render-speed option appears for Twitch clips: faster settings finish sooner but produce a larger file.
What happens when a Twitch VOD expires?
It is gone, and TubePull cannot download it either. Twitch deletes most VODs after 7 days (14 for Affiliates, up to 60 for Partners, Turbo, and Prime). Save the segments you need before then, or use Stream Archiving to record future broadcasts to your own Google Drive.
Use TubePull lawfully. Clip your own broadcasts, streams you manage for a team or client, or content you have permission to save. TubePull does not bypass subscriber-only access, private videos, DRM, or platform permissions.
